Lockton appoints Bond as head of P&C for Bermuda

Lockton Companies have announced the appointment of Ryan Bond as head of property and casualty (P&C) for Bermuda.

Bond will report to managing director Philip DiMeglio, and will be based on the domicile in his newly-created role.

He will work closely with the firm’s London and US teams to “leverage the Bermuda marketplace for the benefit of Lockton’s global clients”.

Bond boasts over 25 years of P&C and general insurance industry experience, with almost two decades in leadership roles at Marsh, wherein he spent time as head of insurance innovation for climate and sustainability, in addition to being CEO of Bowring Marsh for the UK and Ireland.

Head of specialty at Lockton, Blake Roseveare, believes that “Ryan’s experience makes him a fantastic addition to Lockton,” adding that his “expertise will enhance our client offering and further accelerate the development of our business”.

Bond says he looks forward to “working with the team in supporting our existing client portfolio and collaborating with our network to develop new opportunities, solutions, and prospects to bring to the Bermuda insurance market”.
