The Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Run-Off Companies (AIRROC) has named Katie Reynolds as its new executive director, succeeding Carolyn Fahey, who steps down after more than 13 years in the role.
Fahey will remain in a consulting capacity until mid-June to support the transition.
Reynolds, a qualified lawyer, brings nearly a decade of experience in the legacy insurance market, having held positions at Hartford and RiverStone.
She has previously served on the AIRROC board, co-chaired the Digital Content Committee, and helped establish the NextGen Council.
AIRROC board chair Dawn Ballin expresses gratitude to Fahey for her dedication, noting that “her legacy will continue to make an impact on the organisation”.
The AIRROC executive committee remains chaired by Ballin, alongside first vice chair Steward Richmond, Marianne Petillo as treasurer and Megan McHugh as secretary.
