CIC Services has promoted Shoshanna Simmons to director of risk and underwriting. Simmons previously served as the company’s director of client services from June 2021 through to March this year.
In her new role, Simmons will be responsible for evaluating the unique risks of each business insured by CIC Services and its captive clients, as well as recommending coverages to address those risks.
Additionally, Simmons will work alongside independent actuaries used by CIC Services’ clients to determine the premiums for policies insured by the company’s captives under management.
Simmons has extensive experience in risk management and insurance while holding a property and casualty insurance licence.
Prior to joining CIC Services, Simmon served as a risk manager for the Georgia-based Integral Group. There her responsibilities included creating and managing the company’s corporate insurance programme through individualised risk strategies.
