Benjamin Whitehouse named president of ICCIE board

Benjamin Whitehouse, attorney at Butler Snow, will serve as president of the governing board of the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) for 2020 to 2021.

Whitehouse served as vice president for 2019 to2020 and has served as a board member and course instructor for the organisation since 2016.

Commenting on his appointment, Whitehouse said: “ICCIE delivers high quality educational resources to the captive insurance community. Their programmes play a major role in defining and improving the professionalism and core competencies in our industry, and I am honoured to have been chosen to serve in this important role.”

Additionally, in early May, Whitehouse was appointed as chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section’s Captive Insurance Committee for a three-year term.
