SRS acquires Barbados captive manager

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has acquired the operations of CGE Group, a Barbados captive manager.

CGE services captives and other international business entities owned by Canadian and US organisations. The business was formed in 2003 by Chris Evans, who will continue to serve at CEO of the business.

The CGE acquisition is SRS’s first operation in Barbados.

Brady Young, President and CEO of SRS commented: “We believe that Barbados is well suited to our captive management model and establishing an operation [with CGE] will allow us to expand our reach among North American captive owners, particularly in Canada.”

Evans added: "I have got to know Brady Young and the SRS operations over the past few months and have been very impressed with the depth of resources, professionalism and client focus of the firm.”

All staff of CGE will remain with the firm.
