Capstone hires David Osbourn

Capstone Associated Services has hired David Osbourn as director of business development for the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the US

Osbourn has over 35 years of broad insurance industry experience and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), the sixth to join Capstone.

Working from the Pittsburgh office, he will help to expand the company’s reach in the Northeastern and mid-Atlantic regions of the US, and will work on educating mid-market business owners on the benefits of captive insurance planning.

Steward Feldman, CEO and general counsel at Capstone, said: “David Osbourn's prior experience in property and casualty insurance and alternative risk planning aligns well with the expertise we value."

He added: “Over almost 20 years, Capstone has continually supported clients using a multidisciplinary approach to captive insurance formation and management.”

“It is the only way to ensure that the planning is done right and in compliance with state insurance law and IRS rules. We’re looking forward to growing our presence in the northeast with [him] at the forefront.”
