GEB appoints executive management trio

Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) has welcomed Eric Butler, Roland Raad and Thierry Mestach to its international management team.

The trio join Generali ready for the implementation of the company’s new strategy, intended to strengthen the leadership in its core pooling and captives market.

Mestach will serve as director of network management and partnerships.

Previously, he has served in roles at AXA and the MAXIS network, gaining 19 years of senior management experience.

Butler joins as GEB’s director of global health and wellness, and will be responsible for leading the company’s growth ambitions.

He joins from MAXIS, where he served as vice president of global health and wellness.

Raad, who previously worked at AXA, will take on the role of director of GEB’s newly created business travel insurance department, overseeing the company’s expansion into the market.

Ludovic Bayard, general manager at GEB, said: “These new appointments further signal GEB is moving full steam ahead into the execution of its new strategy which sees the company strengthening its leadership in its core pooling and captives market as well as tapping into new and innovative opportunities such as the international middle market, health and wellbeing, and travel insurance.”

He added: “The reinforcement of our network and partnerships governance will further enhance both our global service quality and operational capabilities to meet our ambition of constantly delivering on promises made to our customers.”
