StrucSure Risk Management welcomes new president

StrucSure Risk Management (SRMG) has appointed Richard Poling as its new president, as of 18 January.

The previous president, Christopher Macaulay, will take on a new full-time role as general counsel at the company.

Poling will also become president of SRMG’s warranty division, StrucSure Home Warranty.

He will be responsible for the overall management, operations and profitability of SMRG’s four companies, StrucSure Home Warranty, StrucSure Insurance Services, the Golden Insurance Company risk retention group, and the Four Points Re segregated portfolio company.

Previously, Poling served at OnPoint in a managing directors role, where he managed large insurance programmes for associations, pools, public entities and other groups.

Before this, he worked at Beecher Carlson, managing onshore and offshore alternative market insurance devices.

Jerry Thompson, CEO of SRMG, commented: “This is an exciting time for our company as Richard Poling can focus on key business objectives while Chris Macaulay can continue to provide excellent risk management and legal counsel.”

“As we start our 20th year in business, this leadership update will position us for continued growth and ongoing success through the delivery of solid risk management products and services to the construction industry.”
