Marsh bags new chief client officer

Marsh has hired Aisla King as chief client officer for the UK and Ireland.

Bringing experience in client and business development, King will also become a director of Marsh, subject to regulatory approval.

She is expected to start in Q2 of 2017, and will report to Mark Weil, CEO of Marsh UK and Ireland.

King joins from Willis Towers Watson, where she spent 25 years in a number of positions including leader of the Risk Solutions client segment and, most recently, head of UK client and business development.

Weil said: “We are delighted to welcome Ailsa King, a recognised industry leader, as our chief client officer.”

He added: “[Her] significant industry experience and deep client relationships will ensure that our clients will continue to be at the centre of our strategic efforts and that their views will be represented at the highest level within our firm.”
