South Carolina hosted at record number of attendees at this year’s captive insurance conference, according to JLT Towner.
The South Carolina Captive Insurance Association recorded a total of 231 delegates at the conference held in Charleston.
JLT revealed that cyber risk, captive tax updates, the strategic use of captives, captive trends and the use of a captive for employee benefits were among the hot topics discussed during the event.
Megan Ogden, South Carolina office head for JLT, said: “The South Carolina conference’s growing attendance numbers are a testament to its rising reputation as a top captive insurance domicile.”
She added: “The conference showcased South Carolina’s growing presence in the captive insurance community.”
