Missouri names new captive manager

The Missouri Department of Insurance has appointed New Jersey’s John Talley as its new captive programme manager.

Talley brings 25 years of insurance regulatory experience with him, most recently as the chief of captive insurance operations for the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance.

In his new role, Talley will work closely with John Rehagen, the director of the division of insurance company and captive regulation, to provide a consistent regulatory approach necessary for continued growth of Missouri’s captive insurance programme.

John Huff, director of the Missouri Department of Insurance, commented: "I am very pleased to welcome John Talley to our Missouri team. As Missouri's captive market continues to grow, finding someone with his captive insurance and regulatory experience was imperative.”
